California Children's Services (CCS) is a statewide program that treats children with certain physical limitations and chronic conditions or diseases. Most physically handicapped conditions are eligible for benefits under the CCS program. The CCS Program is funded by the state, county, and federal tax money, along with some fees paid by the parents. This tax-supported program authorizes and pays for specific medical services and rehabilitation for children by CCS-approved specialists and has a Medical Therapy Program (MTU). CCS Offers diagnostic and treatment services, medical case management, and therapy for children and youth up to age 21.

Offers complete health assessments by medical providers for the early detection and prevention of disease and disabilities in children and youth. Services also include well baby, child and teen check-ups and care, school entry exams, and sports and camp physicals.

Child Advocates of Placer County offers programs that support and work with children and youth.

• The Be Bold Youth Program pairs youth with an adult partner who will become someone they can trust, learn with, and grow alongside. Youth will meet weekly for fun-centered and life skill building activities. Nevada County Behavioral Health Children's Mental Health serves children and youth who have Nevada County Medi-Cal and meet moderate to severe criteria for Behavioral Health Treatment: recent psychiatric hospitalization, Probation or Child Welfare involvement, significant challenges at school, homelessness, or a complex combination of concerns that may involve trauma, depression or anxiety symptoms, and housing instability.

The Crisis Resolution Center provides solution-focused, trauma-informed, and person focus family intervention; which resolves family crises and establishes reunification of children ages 12-17 with their families. The Crisis Resolution Center, located in Loomis California, is a six-bed (co-ed) facility with counseling services, fully licensed and professionally staffed to provide short-term out-client family services and short-term residential care.
