Boys & Girls Club provides a safe, structured, and positive environment for young people after school, during holidays, and during summer vacation.
Afterschool programs serve students from ages 6 to 18 and offer homework help, tutoring, sports, recreation, career & leadership development, health & life skills, arts and crafts. Boys & Girls Club is located at E.V. Cain Middle School and the Rock Creek Elementary School. Membership at the Club costs $10.00 and program fees are $10.00 a month. Hours of operation are from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. five days a week. Their hours of operation are extended during the summer and school breaks.

The KidZone Museum provides a children’s museum that works to inspire learning through creative play and discovery. Exhibits are optimal for children under age 7 and focus on building cognitive, physical, social, and creative skills through play. Camps and school programs are designed for children through elementary school. Teenagers can volunteer at the museum.

Discovery Club provides state licensed before and after school care for elementary school-aged children at Alta Vista, Auburn Elementary, Bowman and Skyridge schools. The program includes homework assistance, arts and crafts, nature study, sports, games, community service opportunities and time to play and relax with friends. Snacks are served daily.
