The California Poison Control System (CPCS) operates the Poison Control Center, a free call service in which specially trained pharmacists, nurses, toxicologists, and health care providers quickly answer calls and are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Services for the deaf and hearing-impaired are offered through the California Relay Service. Callers receive personalized treatment advice and/or a referral for medical care. There are no geographic restrictions in the state of California.
