Toys for The Salvation Army distribution are typically provided by the Marine Corps League's Toys for Tots collection/donation program and the California Highway Patrol's CHiPs for Kids collection/donation program.

THE SALVATION ARMY ANGEL TREE PROGRAM
The Salvation Army Angel Tree program helps provide Christmas toys and other gifts for hundreds of thousands of children around the country each year. Once a child has been registered and accepted as an Angel their Christmas wish list is shared with donors in your community who purchase gifts of new clothing and toys. The gifts are distributed to the family to place under their family Christmas tree.

If a family is in need of toys, they need to apply online at: www.saangeltree.org by December 10, 2021 or until our limit is met. If family does not have internet access, The Salvation Army will take applications in person on Mon-Fri from 9am -2pm at the Grass Valley office (10725 Alta Street). Coordinates the CHP Annual Toy Drive for Christmas in collaboration with the Grass Valley Salvation Army. Accepts new, unwrapped toys and then distributes the toys through the Salvation Army.

HOW FAMILIES IN NEED CAN APPLY FOR TOYS
If your family is in need of toys, apply online at: www.saangeltree.org from October 19-November 15, 2020 until our limit is met. If family does not have internet access, The Salvation Army will take applications in person on Wednesdays at the Grass Valley office (10725 Alta Street) from 10am to 1pm. Applicants must have an appointment. Call 530-274-3500.

Upload (or bring if applying in person) the following documents:
  • Identification (Government issued Photo ID, Birth Certificate, or Passport to services) for the applicant.

   Roseville handles Newcastle to Roseville.
