The Maidu Museum & Historic Site conducts interpretive tours along a 5/8 miles trail past petroglyphs, bed rock mortars, and stream. Enjoy the open space surrounding around the historic site, and explore the museum for information on the Nisenan / southern Maidu way of life.

Academic programs feature daily tutoring in math and literacy as well as school assemblies and innovative outreach programs. STAR offers its programs and events after school and in school, on nights and on weekends, at schools, community centers, restaurant/entertainment locations, museums and more.

Among their most successful cultural enrichment endeavors is the RockSTAR Music Education program, which teaches kindergarten through sixth-grade students how to play guitar, bass, drums, and keyboards, how to compose their own songs and how to perform rock 'n roll hits. EMPLEO addresses the concerns of recent immigrants who are not familiar with their workplace rights and responsibilities in the U.S.

EMPLEO is an alliance of community and non-governmental organizations along with state, local, and federal agencies, and the Central American and Mexican consulates providing information and assistance on employment related issues. EMPLEO provides employers and employees with information on federal and state workplace laws.

The EMPLEO program has Spanish-speaking volunteers trained by the partner organizations that can and do assist workers. These volunteers do not work for any governmental agency. They refer callers to the appropriate organization, consulate, or state or federal agency for help. Callers can leave a message in Spanish that will be returned promptly if a volunteer is not immediately available to answer a call.
