12 Step programs are international peer support groups for people who are living with substance addictions, behavioral addictions, and compulsions. All 12 Step programs use a version of the 12 steps developed by Alcoholics Anonymous.

The Aegis narcotic treatment program provides medication assisted treatment (MAT) using buprenorphine (Suboxone™) and methadone. Locally, there are clinic sites in Grass Valley and Marysville. No referral is required. Anyone 18 or older can schedule a consultation at the Marysville site to learn if they meet program admission requirements.

Provides adult and adolescent outpatient alcohol and substance abuse treatment programs.

Offers adult programs that are inclusive of group participation and feature individual sessions with a primary counselor and random urinalysis (UA) testing. Length of treatment depends on individual needs.

 

Offers detoxification, inpatient and outpatient treatment. Provides free, confidential family support, and referrals for other recovery resources. Accepts insurance or private pay for outpatient treatment, and private pay only for inpatient treatment.

Offers outpatient services for the treatment of drug/alcohol abuse including individual treatment plans, group counseling, and individual counseling. Services include specific services for individuals with co-occurring issues.

Works with individuals that have been required by the criminal justice system to access drug and alcohol treatment services. Provides education and counseling.

Offers Assessment Services including clinical interviews, drug testing, written reports, and recommendations.

The Sierra Native Alliance offers programs for Cultural Education, Youth, Behavioral Health, and Family Wellness.

SNA Telehealth & Onsite Services
SNA provides counseling and education services through secure video format online. Staff are in the office and are available by appointment. Youth leadership, cultural arts, and mentoring is done individually and in small groups. Contact the office at 530-888-8767 to schedule an appointment.

The Progress House Inc. provides comprehensive substance use disorder rehabilitation services to those affected by addiction. The Progress House provides residential, outpatient treatment, and transitional living at the following locations:

At Chapa-De, there is non-judgmental and compassionate care for all addictive diseases. Chapa-De Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Services are available to all American Indian community members and active medical patients at Chapa-De Indian Health.

The team at Chapa-De provides:

Substance Use Services provides withdrawal management, residential, outpatient, and perinatal treatment; transitional living and prevention services. Additional services are provided for individuals with both mental illness and substance abuse disorders who are Medi-Cal beneficiaries. We also provide outpatient drug and alcohol services for youth.
 
There is a Walk-in Assessment Clinic for Drug and Alcohol Treatment for Nevada County Residents who have Medi-Cal or who might be eligible for Medi-Cal who are interested in Residential Treatment for a Substance use Disorder.
