Addiction is a chronic, progressive, relapsing disease that can be treated. At Chapa-De, there is non-judgmental and compassionate care for all addictive diseases. Chapa-De Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Services are available to all American Indian community members and active medical patients at Chapa-De Indian Health.
The team at Chapa-De provides:
- Routine screenings
- Education
- Brief interventions
- Referrals to treatment for drug and alcohol addiction
- Referrals to all levels of care, including outpatient treatment, intensive outpatient treatment, and residential treatment, which are available to patients with Medi-Cal. There are additional treatment options available for American Indian patients.
- Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)
- Red Road to Wellbriety Talking Circle
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)Chapa-De Indian Health provides Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for opioid use disorders at both Chapa-De locations and short-term case management services for patients needing individual support during the referral and placement into treatment phase.
Red Road to Wellbriety Talking CircleRecovery group open to all Chapa-De patients seeking recovery and support. Based on native teachings from Red Road to Wellbriety of the White Bison Recovery Movement. These meetings are currently offered virtually on Zoom and are open to patients from both Auburn and Grass Valley.
Thursdays from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. (no appointment needed)
