The San Juan Ridge Family Resource Center (FRC) provides families in the San Juan Ridge area with information and referrals to local resources, services and facilities on a drop-in basis for visitors of all ages.

NOTE: The FRC does NOT have any housing resources and does NOT have any gift cards, gas cards, etc.


Services the FRC does offer include computer, phone, fax, printer, children's play space, clothes closet, laundry station, food pantry, lending and reference libraries, information, referrals, parenting support, weekly children's playgroup, summer camps and periodic events.

Offers a full range of classes designed especially for children, age walking to age 18. Gymnastics classes are given on a set schedule, call for skill levels and times. Competition gymnastics is available but not required. Tumbling and trampoline are also taught.

Provides support, education and activities for seniors in Placer County.

The center has a program called Elder ID. This photo registration service (for Roseville residents only) helps families of those who have Alzheimer's disease or other memory impairments. It is used by local Police & Sheriff Departments to identify seniors who may wander off or get lost.

Provides museum that houses a collection of hard rock mining equipment, including a 30-foot Pelton wheel. The site has a picnic area in the adjacent Glenn Jones Park. Outside displays include a rare operational Cornish Pump that was used to remove water from deep within mine shafts.
