Women, Infants, & Children (WIC) is a Supplemental Nutrition Program which helps families eat well, be active and stay healthy.
WIC helps families by providing:
- Checks - WIC provides special checks for healthy foods for each participant on the program. These checks can be used at authorized WIC vendors/grocers to buy specific types and quantities of food. To view a complete WIC shopping guide, click the button to the right.
- Nutrition Information - WIC provides information about nutrition and health to help you and your family eat well and be healthy.

St. Vincent de Paul’s Bags Program is the delivery of groceries to its homebound seniors or handicapped individuals living in the cities of Roseville and Rocklin. Groceries are delivered by volunteers directly to the client’s residence.
Eligibility
To be eligible for participation, applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Homebound senior or a disabled adult
- City of Roseville or Rocklin resident

Applications can be obtained by calling 916-781-3303 (applications will be mailed) or applications can be requested at St. Vincent De Paul's office in Roseville.

Meals on Wheels is the flagship program of the Older Americans Act. It exemplifies a service designed to help Older Adults Age in Place by targeting people who are home alone during the day and who have difficulty preparing simple meals. For clients who need the service temporarily.
Eligibility:
At the time services are provided, clients shall be:
- 60 years of age or older, sufficiently functionally impaired and homebound; or,
- The spouse, of any age, of an eligible client; or,
- A person with a disability (of any age) who lives with an eligible client.

JANUARY 2023 - IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT (see regular CalFresh info below this announcement)
CalFresh Emergency Allotments, the temporary increases to regular CalFresh benefit amounts during the COVID-19 pandemic, are ending in February 2023. All clients will see a reduction of at least $95 per month in their benefits and some will experience additional significant decreases. With February being the last month approved for the emergency allotment, customers will receive the last benefit issuance in March.

2023 CalFresh Market Money (also known as Market Match) runs June 3 - Nov 18, 2023
Spend CalFresh dollars at Western Nevada County Farmers Markets and receive up to a $15 match per market every week. Come to the Farmers Market booth, show EBT card and photo ID (must be a Nevada County resident), then Market Match tokens will be given to match EBT purchases (up to $15). Tokens can be used to buy food at participating farm stands. Market Match will be available at the TUESDAY and SATURDAY and markets. See times and locations below. Market Money can be used June 3 - Nov 18, 2023. Dates below are for the entire farmers market summer and fall season.
