The Amazing Grace Seventh Day Adventist Church in Lincoln offers services, including food distribution, for people who are homeless.

Directions: Please line up along the side of the road by the church. You will be registered while waiting in line beginning at 12:00 noon. Food will be brought out to your car beginning at 1 p.m.

The Salt Mine is a public charity, offering emergency services to the city of Lincoln and surrounding communities. Their main charitable activity is the food closet, presently offering emergency food to over one thousand needy families in the area each month.

In addition, they help with emergency clothing, household items, and transportation. Other emergency needs are met on an ’as available basis’ or by referral such as bathing and laundry facilities to name a few.

The food closet is funded by the generous donations of friends of The Salt Mine and through the proceeds from the sales at their two thrift stores in Lincoln (The Salt Seller, 454 F Street and The Salt Mine Thrift Shop, 103 Flocchini Circle).

All items sold in these thrift shops are donated by local supporters.

The Salt Mine is sponsored by Vine Life Ministries, Inc., and has been in operation for over twenty-five years.

Placer County Food Bank's Feed Our Future program provides food assistance. Feed Our Future reaches out to food insecure children, rural communities and more. Under this umbrella, services that are offered include:

St. Vincent de Paul’s Bags Program is the delivery of groceries to its homebound seniors or handicapped individuals living in the cities of Roseville and Rocklin. Groceries are delivered by volunteers directly to the client’s residence.

Eligibility
To be eligible for participation, applicants should meet the following criteria:
  • Homebound senior or a disabled adult
  • City of Roseville or Rocklin resident

St. Vincent de Paul's Dining Room program now provides carry-out meals in place of the usual sit-down operation, which was in place before the pandemic. St. Vincent de Paul serves a warm, prepared meal three days a week, and a cold meal two days a week. Volunteers create and serve balanced meals to hundreds of clients each week. All are welcome.
