Founded in 1987, Del Oro Caregiver Resource Center is part of a statewide system of resource centers serving family caregivers. Del Oro covers California’s Gold Country Counties — Alpine, Amador, Calaveras, Colusa, El Dorado, Nevada, Placer, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Sierra, Sutter, Yolo, and Yuba — and is an independent, private, non-profit program funded by the Department of Health Care Services, Agency on Aging, Area 4, grants and private contributions.

Provides low cost screening mammograms to women of all ages with no referral needed. Offers breast ultrasounds, X-rays, diagnostic mammograms as well as general and vascular ultrasounds which do require a referral from a physician. Performs bone density studies and osteoporosis evaluations with a physician referral.
