Nevada County Now offers paratransit and senior on-demand dial-a-rides. There is no Sunday service. Service area includes Grass Valley, Nevada City, Penn Valley, Lake Wildwood, and other local areas (see link to map in Web Pages section below). Bus hours: 7am - 6pm  Monday - Friday. 7:30am - 4:30pm Saturday.

PARATRANSIT
The County of Nevada Transit Services administers an origin-to-destination/door-to-door paratransit service for persons with disabilities who, due to a mental or physical disability, are unable to use the fixed-route bus system, as mandated by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Eligibility for Paratransit Service

Tahoe Truckee Area Regional Transportation (TART) provides public transportation, much of it free, for the Truckee – North Lake Tahoe region. TART connects with Greyhound, Amtrak, and Truckee Transit at the Truckee Depot. Offers ADA complementary service for individuals who cannot ride a public bus due to physical, mental, or other health issues. If a person qualifies, then they can get door to door service within the TART fixed route. TART is a public transit service operated by the Placer County Department of Public Works, funded by Placer County, Washoe County Regional Transportation Commission and the Town of Truckee.

TART has four distinct services

The Town of Truckee offers both Fixed Route and Dial-A-Ride service in the Truckee area.

For ADA certified passengers fares are freeon the Fixed Route and on the Dial-A-Ride (click link to download the ADA Application:https://www.townoftruckee.com/home/showdocument?id=7969).

These services provide a range of options for travelers to access recreation, employment, shopping, and social service opportunities while helping our region’s environment.

Rocklin's public transportation is served by the Placer County Transit Agency (PCTA) which offers bus service to and from Sacramento.

The PCTA also connects with Regional Transit (RT) which is the major public passenger rail transit system serving the Sacramento Metro Area.

The Placer Commuter Express is a commuter bus that travels along the I-80 corridor from Colfax to downtown Sacramento.

Dial-A-Ride Service is available by calling (916) 745-7560 twenty-four hours in advance of your desired trip time. All Dial-A-Ride vehicles are wheel-chair accessible.
