Granite Wellness Centers’ Raíces Unidas provides culturally specific substance use and behavioral health disorder treatment for monolingual Spanish-speaking families. 

Services are available regardless of insurance coverage or citizenship status.

The program incorporates traditional healing practices, community engagement, and individualized care. Each participant is supported by a counselor, peer specialist, and therapist.

Services include:

  • DUI education classes
  • Batterers intervention
  • Adult outpatient and intensive outpatient treatment
  • Family therapy and referrals for mental health, housing, medical care, and employment
  • Life skills support, including ESL, computer literacy, and resume building
  • Specialized services for mothers in recovery

Additional offerings include legal and immigration support through partner organizations.

Balanced Bipolar & Depression Support provides peer-led support groups for people living with bipolar disorder or depression.

Meetings are also open to family members, friends, and mental health students who want to learn how to support individuals experiencing mood disorders.

Services include:

  • Weekly peer support groups via Zoom
  • Education and wellness resources for individuals and families
  • Local mental health and recovery resources
  • Mental health advocacy and stigma reduction

Meetings are held Wednesdays from 7pm-8:30pm on Zoom. Participants must call or email at least 24 hours in advance to attend.

The Placer County Children's Mental Health Crisis Services provides behavioral services for children.  Assessments for non-crisis intensive Mental Health Services are provided by Masters-level professional clinicians in all geographic areas of Placer County, including Auburn, Roseville, Lincoln, and King’s Beach.

Self-referred individuals or families will either have an appointment scheduled with the Children’s Mental Health Unit, with an organizational provider, an MFT or LCSW in the Placer County Network, or they will be linked to another appropriate community or agency provider depending on needs and insurance coverage.

If your life is in danger or you need to report an emergency situation, call 911.

Transition Partnership Program (TPP) is a collaborative effort between the Placer County Office of Education and the Department of Rehabilitation (DOR), serving students with disabilities and other impediments to employment.
