Interfaith Food Ministry provides supplemental groceries, including baby formula and baby food when available, to low-income individuals and families.
People needing free supplemental groceries are allowed to come to IFM once every other week.

Free phones (also known as lifeline phones or Obama phones) are available at Saturday food distributions for eligible low-income Nevada County residents. Eligibility is based on income. For example, people who receive CalFresh/EBT and Medi-Cal are eligible. Expect to present proof of income and have a photo ID.

Interfaith Food Ministry, in a partnership with SpeeDee Carts, offers food home delivery to eligible people. Qualifying clients include seniors, people with disabilities, and people who have tested positive for COVID-19 and are in isolation.

The company has a number of Emergency Response Crews that are fully equipped with everything they need from trucks to tarps to ladders to sealants to mitigate further damage to property. They can also do residential and commercial interior and exterior painting. Cecil Construction is a member of the nonprofit Nevada County Contractors' Association.

Disaster Case Managers will work one-on-one with individuals and families that have been impacted by the severe winter storms.
Meeting regularly and as needed, the case managers will be able to work with you step-by-step throughout the recovery process, provide you with resources for any need that comes up, navigate the County, State, Federal home repair and financial assistance processes that you will encounter, advocate for additional resources as needed, provide a physical place where you can print, fax, email, and copy documents, and keep you up to date with any updates as they are released.
