The Placer County Law Library, also known as the Sparks Law Library of Placer County, is a separate entity from the county government and is governed by its own Board of Trustees. It's staff can direct people to relevant resources for their legal questions. They cannot provide legal advice.

The ALS Association leads the way in research, care services, public education, and public policy- giving help and hope to those facing Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis.

The Chapter provides local comprehensive care services, from supporting Multidisciplinary Centers of Excellence, providing grants to patients and caregivers, local & national legislative work, to the funding of global research programs. A care services team provides:
