Balanced Bipolar & Depression Support provides peer-led support groups for people living with bipolar disorder or depression.
Meetings are also open to family members, friends, and mental health students who want to learn how to support individuals experiencing mood disorders.

Eligibility for Placer Children's mental health services includes full scope Medi-Cal beneficiaries, and County Medical Services Program (CMSP) beneficiaries with low or no share of cost. Those who do not meet these eligibility criteria are assessed on an individual basis regarding their need for services.

Cornerstone Crisis Residential, offered through Yolo Community Care Continuum (YCCC) provides short-term residential treatment for adults experiencing a psychiatric crisis in Placer County.
Treatment is designed for individuals who need an intermediate step between a hospital stay and returning home, or who wish a more structured, supportive setting in order to prevent a psychiatric hospitalization.
All services are coordinated with the Placer County Mental Health Department treatment providers to ensure continuity of treatment.
