Stand Up Placer's 24-hour crisis line advocates offer support, resources, and referrals to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking and their families. If you are unsure if you are a victim, this is a good first step for you to take on your path to safety and healing.

Be sure to follow these precautions:

  • Call from a safe location, away from your abuser, so that he/she is not aware that you are planning on leaving or where you are going.
  • Be mindful of calling the Crisis Line from your home or your cell phone if your abuser has access to your phone bills or records.
  • If your abuser attempts to locate you after you leave, finding that you called Stand Up Placer Crisis Line may alert him/her to which agency is assisting you.
