The Salvation Army in Yuba/Sutter provides a wide range of social services, including emergency food assistance through a pantry and medically tailored groceries, transitional and emergency housing programs, and family crisis shelter. Pioneer Community Energy is a Community Choice Aggregator (CCA) that was formed in 2017. CCAs are not-for-profit public agencies that purchase electricity for residents and businesses in the community, leading to more competitive energy rates. Pioneer is one of 24 operational CCAs in California. CCAs work with investor-owned utilities (IOUs) like PG&E. PG&E maintains the physical infrastructure, delivers the power, and provides the billing service. 

Pioneer serves large areas of Placer and El Dorado counties and the Cities of Grass Valley and Nevada City in Nevada County.

My Time Movement provides support services for young adults with foster care experience who are enrolled in Medi-Cal through Partnership HealthPlan.
