Auburn Interfaith Food Closet (AIFC) provides a Homebound Delivery Program (HBSD) - Since 2020, AIFC has a new program to deliver groceries once a month to low-income homebound persons (within their service area). AIFC will provide HBSD participants with enough food each month to make 12 nutritious meals. 

The home delivery service is not on-demand, but occurs monthly on a pre-established schedule. Each guest's order is customized monthly, to best serve their needs.

Amount of food
Each month, HBSD participants receive four days' worth of age-appropriate food for each member of their household.

Placer County Public Health Department (PCPHD) partners with medical care providers in the community, and the California Department of Public Health, to prevent and control the spread of infectious diseases. We investigate and follow-up on reported cases and their contacts. Staff provide education to individuals and in group settings, and surveillance duties to reduce incidents and prevent additional cases.

During COVID-19: Now offering 15 minute result Rapid COVID-19 tests by appointment and walk-ins. If COVID-19 test is to be sent to a lab (not a Rapid COVID-19 test), results will take 2-4 days.

Insurance:
Call or visit online to see if your insurance is accepted and may help to cover the cost. A​ll patients need to see a provider at Sierra Doctors Medical Group first for COVID-19 tests to be covered by insurance (if your insurance is accepted). There may be a co-pay at the time of the visit.

Cost:
Rapid COVID-19 tests may cost $125. COVID-19 tests, if sent to a lab, will result in a cost sent to the patient from the lab.
