How to Prepare

You will see links to resources for customers. Below those resources, you will also see an option to enter an email address for non-customers to receive notifications.

If you are…

Call 9-1-1 if...

• a power line is down
• you smell natural gas or propane, which indicates a possible gas leak
• for any other possibly life threatening situation

For emergencies, call 911, then call Liberty Utilities.

A natural gas leak or a propane leak can be extremely dangerous. This includes any size of propane tank, including small ones used with barbecues. Report gas leaks immediately by calling 9-1-1 and then call your provider.

Liberty provides natural gas, water, and electricity distribution services. Its utility operations are primarily located in the United States and Canada. Liberty provides walk-in centers, energy efficiency programs, and programs for businesses and residential customers.

Never touch downed wires. If you see a downed power line, assume it is energized and extremely dangerous. Do not touch or try to move it—and keep children and animals away. Report downed power lines immediately by calling 9-1-1 and then call your electricity provider.

Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) provides utility services, including electric and natural gas. Electric and gas interruption emergency services at any time of the day or night. Provides connection and disconnection services.
