Learners and tutors commit to meet 1–2 times per week for at least one year. Students come from a wide range of countries and backgrounds.

The 2026 Placer Veterans Stand Down is scheduled for May 5-6, 2026, at @the Grounds (Roseville fairgrounds) located at 700 Event Center Dr. in Roseville, CA, 95678.
