Nevada Insight Respite Center (IRC) offers respite program for individuals with mental health challenges going through difficult times in order to prevent crisis intervention or hospitalization. Insight Respite Center is a peer centered program where guests are treated as equals on their road to recovery. They realize that fostering of self-esteem and self-respect is crucial to the health and well being of an individual. Peer Supporters are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for guests to connect with and experience mutual learning. We offer hope, compassion and understanding in a stigma-free environment.
To make a referral, please call Nevada County Behavioral Health at 530-265-1437 and ask to speak with the intake person of the day. If an individual is accepted, they will be contacted by a peer from Insight Respite.

Auburn Renewal Center offers basic medical services to the under-insured, uninsured, and unsheltered residents of the greater Auburn area. Clinic is primarily for people 18 years old, low income, uninsured, under-insured, unsheltered. Children over 8 can be seen on a case by case basis.
