AAA4 Health & Wellness offers free wellness workshops, health education, and movement-based classes for older adults across its seven-county region. Programs promote healthy aging, disease prevention, nutrition, and community connection.

Services include:

  • Evidence-based workshops such as Bingocize, A Matter of Balance, and Live Strong and Safe
  • Chronic disease self-management programs, including the Diabetes Empowerment Education Program (DEEP)
  • Nutrition and food education through CalFresh Healthy Living
  • Virtual classes from GetSetUp, led by older adult instructors; topics include:
    • Tai Chi and strength training
    • Sleep and mental wellness
    • Time management and lifestyle balance
    • Seasonal health topics

California HOPE (CalHOPE) delivers crisis phone support and a warm line for communities impacted by a national disaster. This is a Crisis Counseling Assistance and Training Program (CCP) funded by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), and run by the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS).
