The Crisis Resolution Center provides a toll-free 24-hour telephone number (available to teens and family members residing in Placer County only) for referrals, personal support, advice, and counsel to teens and parents/caregivers/guardians in crisis.

The Crisis Resolution Center provides solution-focused, trauma-informed, and person focus family intervention; which resolves family crises and establishes reunification of children ages 12-17 with their families. The Crisis Resolution Center, located in Loomis California, is a six-bed (co-ed) facility with counseling services, fully licensed and professionally staffed to provide short-term out-client family services and short-term residential care.

The Gathering Inn South Placer Emergency Shelter is a nomadic shelter located in Roseville. This shelter welcomes individuals and families. Partnerships with churches throughout Placer County make this program possible by providing guests with a meal and a safe place to sleep. Intakes and case management are offered 7 days/week.
 
The Gathering Inn provides a variety of services – some just for people in their program or on the waiting list, and others for the wider community of people in need. People can get on the waiting list by calling 211 and ALSO calling TGI to confirm they want to receive services and get into the program.

Volunteers of America Family Shelter, Home Start Inc. is a non-profit emergency shelter (operating 24/7, 365 days a year) for homeless families in Placer County.

The goal of the Community Support Services programs is to help people find and maintain stable housing.

The target populations served by Placer ECM and CSS are adults over the age of 21 who:

  • are experiencing homelessness, and/or

MEDICAL RESPITE PROGRAM - TGI AUBURN

In 2009 Sutter Roseville, Sutter Auburn Faith, and Kaiser, collaborated with the Gathering Inn, creating the Interim Care Program (ICP). Now called the Medical Respite Program, it provides people experiencing homelessness with a safe, clean place to rest and recover following hospital discharge. Services include:

  • Case management
  • Resource navigation
  • Mental health services

211 cannot provide a direct referral however, 211 can provide information so that people may ask to speak with their case manager or social worker at the hospital in order to receive a referral to the Medical Respite Program.

The Gathering Inn Mid Placer is a 100 bed emergency housing and services program located at the DeWitt Campus in Auburn, CA.

The Gathering Inn is staffed 24/7 and employs 4 full-time Case Managers who work with guests to identify and work through barriers to housing by discussing how to increase income, providing a connection to education, and securing sustainable housing. Case Managers then provide follow-up support for up to 1 year in an effort to reduce homelessness.

The Safe House Program is designed to empower survivors and develop strategies to stay safe and build their future.

Stand Up Placer recognizes that children who have been living in a home with violence enter the safe house with their own special needs and concerns.
