Transition Partnership Program (TPP) is a collaborative effort between the Placer County Office of Education and the Department of Rehabilitation (DOR), serving students with disabilities and other impediments to employment. Through the program, participants develop important knowledge and skills to gain work.

Eligibility

• Attend high school in Placer County
• Age 16-21
• Barrier to employment (i.e., IEP, 504 plan, mental health diagnosis, physical disability, etc.)

In collaboration with the Small Business Administration (SBA), Small Business Development Centers (SBDC), Placer School for Adults (PSA), and others, Placer Business Resource Center serves businesses of all sizes at every stage of the business life cycle. Services are available in English and Spanish, and are open to all ages.

The Salvation Army provides basic needs assistance, community support programs, and emergency services for people living in Rocklin and Roseville.

Services include:

• Rental assistance
• Utility assistance, available when funding allows
• Food assistance, including:
  • Emergency pantry
  • Community meals (times vary)
• Disaster response, including fire recovery and emergency aid
• Shower access on Fridays from 6-7pm (no clothing distribution)
• Holiday programs, such as seasonal food boxes and gift drives
• Childcare assistance, available in limited cases
• Employment support, including job search assistance and referrals
• Spiritual support, such as pastoral care and prayer counseling
