The City of Auburn has its own Transit Services and also contracts with Placer County Transit to provide additional transit options to Auburn residents.

Auburn Loop

The Auburn Loop is Auburn Transit’s deviated fixed route service. It provides direct transportation to and from any Auburn Loop bus stop as well as deviations up to ½ mile throughout the City and parts of surrounding Placer County.

Auburn OnDemand

Access in Motion is dedicated to providing on-time, accessible non-emergency medical transportation for the disabled community in Rocklin, Roseville, and surrounding areas in Placer and Sacramento counties. The company specializes in providing mobility services to and from dialysis and other medical appointments for individuals using wheelchairs and walkers or who are simply not able to drive themselves safely. Tahoe Truckee Area Regional Transportation (TART) provides public transportation, much of it free, for the Truckee – North Lake Tahoe region. TART connects with Greyhound, Amtrak, and Truckee Transit at the Truckee Depot. Offers ADA complementary service for individuals who cannot ride a public bus due to physical, mental, or other health issues. If a person qualifies, then they can get door to door service within the TART fixed route. TART is a public transit service operated by the Placer County Department of Public Works, funded by Placer County, Washoe County Regional Transportation Commission and the Town of Truckee.
