Know Overdose Nevada County promotes harm reduction and overdose prevention through public education and local access to free naloxone (Narcan) and fentanyl test strips.

Free naloxone and fentanyl test strips are available through participating organizations and outreach efforts. Many local pharmacies also carry naloxone for purchase without a prescription.

Services include:

  • Free naloxone (Narcan) and fentanyl test strips from participating organizations
  • Educational materials about overdose risks and harm reduction
  • Access to information about treatment options available at local agencies
  • Information about purchasing naloxone from pharmacies without a prescription

Additional notes:
