Placer County Public Health Department (PCPHD) partners with medical care providers in the community, and the
California Department of Public Health, to prevent and control the spread of infectious diseases. We investigate and follow-up on reported cases and their contacts. Staff provide education to individuals and in group settings, and surveillance duties to reduce incidents and prevent additional cases.
