Eskaton’s Telephone Reassurance Program provides opportunities for friendship, connection, and joy. Every day, the program brings together older adults and volunteers of all ages to share experiences, stories and laughter through friendly conversation. This program is available to anyone in the US. Participants do not need to be affiliated with Eskaton. Eskaton is a senior living and aging service provider.

Provides services for people who are blind or visually impaired. Through the Senior IMPACT Project, offers free training to people 55 or over in non-visual skills and alternative techniques for everyday activities including dialing the telephone, managing medications, using appliances, managing money, cooking, and mobility.

The Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) is a federally funded program administered nationally by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food and Nutrition Services Agency, and in California, by the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA). The goal of the California SFMNP is to provide fresh, nutritious, unprepared, locally-grown produce, cut herbs, and raw honey through Certified Farmers’ Markets to low-income seniors.

The Seniors Farmers' Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) is designed to:

• Provide low-income seniors with access to locally grown fruits, vegetables, honey, and herbs.
• Increase the domestic consumption of agricultural commodities through farmers' markets, roadside stands, and community supported agricultural programs.

Well Connected (formerly Senior Center Without Walls) and Well Connected Español are phone and online programs offering activities, education, friendly conversation, and an assortment of classes and support groups to older adults accessible from the comfort of home. The programs consist of participants, staff, facilitators, presenters, and other volunteers who care about each other, and who value being connected to engaging content, and to each other. All activities are free to participants and are available in English and Spanish.

Well Connected members can play a game, learn a language, write a poem, go on a virtual tour, meditate, share a gratitude, get support, and most importantly, connect and engage with others every day across the country. Well Connected is a Community Service of Covia and is free of charge to all participants and available to adults over the age of 60.
