McAuley Meadows is an independent, senior, affordable housing community in Auburn, California. The community features 59 one-bedroom apartments for seniors age 55 and older. The three-story property is being developed on a portion of vacant land on the Sisters of Mercy of Auburn campus. McAuley Meadows is designed to serve seniors with very low and extremely low incomes.

Loomis Senior Life Center provides numerous programs and meets at the 1st United Methodist Church in Loomis. The center's goal is to expand the mind, the body, and the spirits of seniors to enable them to stay in their homes for as long as possible. Programs include: Zumba Gold at 9 am Stretchersize at 10 am Yoga at 11:00 am on Tuesdays and Thursdays Tai Chi starts at 9:00 am Art class on Tuesdays from 9:00 to noon Sewing and quilting on Thursdays from 9:00 to noon Special programs (provided once in a while) Choirs Instrumentalists Speakers on topics of interest to seniors Card games Board games Conversation All services are provided for $4.00 per person per day. Loomis Senior Life Center provides a continental breakfast and a full nutritious hot lunch each day. There is a pianist that plays at lunch time.
