SOUTHSIDE ART CENTER

SOUTHSIDE ART CENTER #65631126

Southside Art Center creates a forum that applies the medium of opportunity, blending artistic expression, personal progress, and active citizenship toward individual empowerment. We see people with developmental challenges as full citizens of the community who have the ability and the opportunity to contribute to society, prosper financially, and make decisions that effect their lives.

Southside’s visual and performing arts studios provide new choices. Our visual arts program may include painting, drawing, jewelry making, ceramics, wire sculpture, and knitting. We encourage our artists to create their own projects and methods of working, in order to develop their artistic voice.

Many of our artists choose to exhibit and sell their art at Southside Art Center Gallery and other community exhibitions
