The Sierra-Sacramento Valley Emergency Medical Services Agency has designated Tahoe Forest Hospital as a Level III Trauma Center. This means our emergency medicine team has consistently demonstrated their ability to provide advanced trauma life support, evaluation, stabilization, and diagnostic services. Provides immunizations, family planning and birth control, pap tests and breast exams, basic reproductive health information, STD testing and treatment, pregnancy testing, and routine physical examinations.  

The Nevada County Public Health Department in Truckee offers confidential reproductive health services to teens including abstinence education, birth control education and supplies, decision-making counseling and support, pregnancy testing and referrals, emergency contraception supplies, STD testing and referrals, Hepatitis A and B vaccinations, HPV vaccinations, mental health counseling and support, and referrals to community services.

Visit the walk-in clinic every Wednesdays from 1-4pm or make an appointment on other clinic days. Appointments and all services are FREE, CONFIDENTIAL, and provided in a SAFE and WELCOMING teen space.
