Our transitional housing program provides up to 12 months for each household in a recreational vehicle.

Everyone Matters Ministries provides:

Transitional Housing:
Through a fleet of Recreational Vehicles or RV's, we are able to provide a transitional housing environment to individuals, couples, or families to have a safe space to live for up to 12 months. We want to help them experience safety, love, and healing so they can overcome the hurdles that led to their circumstances of homelessness.

Requirements:
Each household is required to pay a small program fee, meet with a mentor/case manager, must have a part- or full-time job, and save money each month towards future housing.

Roseville Home Start successfully transitions homeless families with children into affordable, sustainable, permanent housing and self-reliance through a system of housing and support services that is comprehensive, flexible, accessible and accountable.

Our Mission is to provide hope to homeless families, by assisting them in their move to self-sufficiency. We provide a safe, stable, drug-free, violence-free environment for children to live with their families.

Major components of the program include transitional housing, case management, budgeting, life skills training, therapy and permanent housing placement. Families reside at Home Start for one year, then continue under Home Start's case management for an additional year upon successfully moving into their own permanent housing.

Home Start provides shelter and comprehensive services to 150-200 clients per year.

The Taylor House is a local non profit that offers reasonable and safe housing to young women who have emancipated out of the Foster Care System.

The Taylor House is a completely renovated home in historic Roseville conveniently located within walking distance of the tranquil Royer Park, Roseville Transit Bus Line, across from the Roseville Library, downtown Roseville shopping boutiques, restaurants, street fair, theater and more.

The mission of the Taylor House is to help former foster youth transition into successful and independent adults.

​The Taylor House helps bridge this transition by offering affordable rents while creating a sense of community, that will promote self-worth, build confidence,improve life skills and help the residents build lifelong relationships.

AMI Housing, Inc (AMIH) is a California 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation that provides housing, employment  and life skills programs to residents of Nevada County and Placer County who otherwise might be homeless. AMIH also manages and operates Nevada County Housing Development Corporation.​

AMIH’s programs can help people who are low income and are homeless, or at risk of homelessness. Any rent payment assistance help is based on their income and need.  Some people get help with the security deposit, first month’s rent, and then a few months of rental assistance.  Others get help for longer and some for shorter period of time.  The extent of rental assistance depends on the individual and their need. A housing counselor may be able to help them find a suitable and affordable apartment in Nevada County.

Housing Opportunities Providing Experience (HOPE) offers transitional housing along with intensive life skills support for young adults that have emancipated from court ordered foster or group home care.

HOPE is a program of Whole Person Learning (WPL), a public agency that empowers youth and young adults to thrive in their communities by using a collaborative, individually tailored positive youth development approach.

Unity Care is a national accredited, strengths-based, family-focused, and culturally proficient youth and family agency. Unity Care’s goal is to provide safe, stable and affordable housing for youth and young adults as they age out of foster care and to provide them with the supportive services they need to achieve self-sufficiency.

Program eligibility: 16-24 years old, residing in western Placer County, early onset mental health symptoms.

The Placer County Office of Education (PCOE) in collaboration with Child Advocates of Placer County, provides the Independent Living Program (ILP) for Placer County. ILP provides training, services, and benefits to assist current and former foster youth in achieving self-sufficiency prior to, and after leaving, the foster care system.

The Placer County Independent Living Program (ILP) delivers high quality services in the community where foster youth are living and learning. Our mission is to promote self-sufficiency among transition-aged youth related to:

• Job placement assistance
• Financial independence

• Housing
• Health care

Staff approach all youth work with a lens of trauma-informed care, continually striving to provide environments that are safe, positive, predictable, consistent, and equitable.

Blossom Place provides safe housing, one-on-one support and resources so former foster and at-risk young women ages 18-24 can learn the life skills, achieve the goals and gain the confidence to blossom into who they are meant to be.

Blossom Place believes one's basic needs of housing, food, clothing and safety need to be met before you can move on to accomplish other goals. The Independence Plan is a step-by-step plan that moves a young woman through basic needs and into goals and dreams. With a mentor, a counselor and a Blossom partner who acts case manager alongside her, she will work through education, career, health, transportation and relationship goals. She'll learn time management, budgeting, cooking, cleaning, stress management and parenting skills. The ultimate goal is for each girl to have all the pieces of the puzzle in place, and all the skills and the confidence in herself to successfully move on to independent living.
