Provides opportunity for visitors to the Historic Firehouse No. 1, which  was completed in the Spring of 1861, and housed the Nevada Hose Company No. 1 from 1861 to 1938.

Displays historical collections from the history of early Nevada City, including the Nisenan Indians, the Donner Party, the Chinese and daily life in Nevada County, featuring wedding dresses and an ornate miniature doll house.

Care is provided by an interdisciplinary team: doctor, nurse, home health aide, spiritual care provider and volunteer.

The ReStore is Foothills Habitat for Humanity's discount building materials outlet.

ReStore offers new and gently used merchandise at reduced prices.

All store inventory is donated by area businesses and homeowners (see a list below).

Inventory is constantly changing and includes top-of-the-line items at bottom line prices. In addition to being a bargain for homeowners, the ReStore is a bargain for the environment. By reusing and repurposing donated items that are still useful, these items are kept out of our landfills.

If you are a business or a homeowner, the ReStore can assist you by accepting tax-deductible donations of your unwanted and excess merchandise.

A Community For Peace's program, “For Kid’s Sake”, serves children ages 0-12 who have been impacted by domestic violence and family violence. Our therapeutic play care programs are designed to provide children with a safe environment in which they can heal from the impact of violence, while simultaneously learning new ways to be, with themselves and with others, that are both safe and kind.

In some cases, thieves try to register with FEMA using stolen names, addresses and Social Security numbers. FEMA encourages survivors to watch for and report any suspicious activity.

The Transit Ambassador Program of South Placer County is the result of the collaborative efforts of the Placer County Transportation Planning Agency (PCTPA), Placer County Transit (PCT), and the City of Roseville. It is a volunteer program that puts volunteer Transit Ambassadors on area buses to help passengers get where they need to go. Volunteer Transit Ambassadors have helped numerous individuals and groups of individuals maintain or regain their independence by learning how to travel on public transportation.
