Placer County Public Health Department (PCPHD) partners with medical care providers in the community, and the California Department of Public Health, to prevent and control the spread of infectious diseases. Insurance:
Call or visit online to see if your insurance is accepted and may help to cover the cost. A​ll patients need to see a provider at Sierra Doctors Medical Group first for COVID-19 tests to be covered by insurance (if your insurance is accepted). There may be a co-pay at the time of the visit.

Cost:
Rapid COVID-19 tests may cost $125. COVID-19 tests, if sent to a lab, will result in a cost sent to the patient from the lab.
