Placer County Law Enforcement Chaplaincy serves both the members of Law Enforcement and their families, and works through Law Enforcement to act as victims advocates to the citizens of Placer County.

The Mission of the Placer Law Enforcement Chaplaincy is "To provide spiritual, emotional, and mental support to the Law Enforcement Community, their families, and the citizens of Placer County."

Our Mission is achieved through:

1. Providing expertise in counseling on issues unique to law enforcement personnel
2. Specialization in trauma and crisis intervention
3. The conducting of crisis counseling in the field
4. Demonstrating excellence in delivering care and comfort to both law enforcement and the community

Opening Doors, Inc helps underserved members of the Greater Sacramento Area access opportunities within the US social and economic system. Their programs help those escaping human trafficking and newly arrived refugees to start safe and healthy lives. They provide low-cost immigration legal services, financial education classes, and small business support programs.

They do this with a multi-cultural staff and volunteers who respect the cultural identities and individual goals of their clients.

Senior Peer Counseling provides a free, confidential, voluntary, peer support, in-home program for Placer County residents aged 55 years or better who are dealing with age-related adjustment issues.

Peer Counselors work with people in the community on issues such as:

• Change in individuals' sense of independence
• Family conflict
• Loneliness
• Situational depression or anxiety
• Loss of a companion
• Medical diagnosis
• Physical disability
• Retirement
• Relocation
• Change in health
• Other age-related concerns

The Sierra Native Alliance offers programs for Cultural Education, Youth, Behavioral Health, and Family Wellness.

Services include:

• Outpatient Substance Use Disorder treatment

• Anger Management and Violence Prevention
• Youth programs including the White Bison Group which provides substance use education and relapse prevention skills using the Youth White Bison- Medicine Wheel 12-Steps curriculum.

SNA Telehealth & Onsite Services
SNA provides counseling and education services through secure video format online. Staff are in the office and are available by appointment. Youth leadership, cultural arts, and mentoring is done individually and in small groups. Contact the office at 530-888-8767 to schedule an appointment.
