The Social Security Administration's Ticket to Work Program supports career development for Social Security disability beneficiaries age 18 through 64 who want to work. The Ticket Program is free and voluntary. The Ticket Program helps people with disabilities progress toward financial independence. Individuals who receive Social Security benefits because of a disability and are age 18 through 64 probably already qualify for the program.

Assists families with child development, parenting support, counseling, education, employment tools, and community resources. It also offers playgroups for families with children ages 0-5.

Note:

  • The FRC does not have any housing resources and does NOT have any gift cards, gas cards, etc.
  • The FRC does offer public use computers, resource and lending libraries, Spanish language translation services, a play area, diapers, laundry vouchers, ASQ's, children's and a clothes closet.

Everyone Matters Ministries (EMM) provides transitional housing for individuals, couples, and families through a fleet of recreational vehicles (RVs), with stays of up to 12 months.

Services include:

  • A safe living space in an RV for up to 12 months
  • Financial literacy support
  • Employment readiness assistance
  • Weekly food boxes (see Food Ministry below)

Food Ministry:

EMM partners with Feeding The Foothills to provide large boxes of food every Friday to each household in the program, helping offset grocery costs. Volunteers deliver boxes directly to each home.

Additional Information:

RVs are placed in local RV parks, and applicants must meet park income requirements (typically 2x the rent). Average space rent is around $800 per month but may vary by location.
