The Sierra Foothills AIDS Foundation (SFAF) is a community based, nonprofit organization that provides support services to people living with HIV or AIDS and their families, and provides education and prevention services to the general public, including free HIV testing.

Healing Pastures at C Horse Ranch offers equine therapy and cancer survivor support groups.

Placer Independent Resource Services (PIRS) facilitates peer-led Cross Disability Support Groups for people with any disability in Auburn (weekly), Placerville (monthly), and a Spanish-speaking group (biweekly). 

Groups provide connection, peer support, and resources.

Services include:

• Weekly peer support group in Auburn
• Monthly peer support group in Placerville
• Spanish-speaking peer support group
• Information, referrals, and reasonable accommodations upon advance request

Parkinson Association of Northern California (PANC) provides information and support for Parkinson's disease patients and their families in Northern California. There are over 45 Support Groups throughout the region including Auburn and Roseville and information resources are available online.

Balanced Bipolar & Depression Support provides peer-led support groups for people living with bipolar disorder or depression.

Meetings are also open to family members, friends, and mental health students who want to learn how to support individuals experiencing mood disorders.

Services include:

• Weekly peer support groups via Zoom
• Education and wellness resources for individuals and families
• Local mental health and recovery resources
• Mental health advocacy and stigma reduction

Meetings are held Wednesdays from 7pm-8:30pm on Zoom. Participants must call or email at least 24 hours in advance to attend.
