Nevada County Behavioral Health Children's Mental Health serves children and youth who have Nevada County Medi-Cal and meet moderate to severe criteria for Behavioral Health Treatment: recent psychiatric hospitalization, Probation or Child Welfare involvement, significant challenges at school, homelessness, or a complex combination of concerns that may involve trauma, depression or anxiety symptoms, and housing instability.
Services
Treatment location is based on need and can take place at the Nevada County Behavioral Health Office, schools, Family Resource Centers, or other locations convenient for the family. Therapists are trained in a variety of techniques and work with youth of all ages. Therapy is provided in both English and Spanish.
