Formerly known as Tahoe SAFE Alliance, Sierra Community House’s Crisis Intervention is dedicated to serving victims of intimate partner / domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse. All services are free and available in multiple languages. NEVADA COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES #4661905
Nevada County Adult Protective Services (APS) supports older adults and dependent adults who may be experiencing neglect, physical abuse, financial exploitation, or self-neglect.
APS investigates reports of abuse and provides safety planning, referrals, and case management to protect vulnerable adults who are unable to care for themselves.
