Granite Wellness Centers (GWC), formerly known as Community Recovery Resources or CoRR, provides comprehensive services to promote wellness for individuals and families with a focus on addressing substance use disorders.
GWC is a source of naloxone, a medication used to rapidly reverse opioid overdose.
Granite Wellness offers residential and outpatient substance use disorder treatment services for adults and youth with personalized treatment plans including group and individual counseling and other services.
Granite Wellness also provides transitional housing up to six months for adult men, women, and women with young children for people enrolled in outpatient services. Other services include educational groups for parenting, anger management, DUI services, Resilient Child program, Family Educational Series, and more.

In case of a medical emergency call 911 immediately. Granite Wellness Centers is a source of naloxone. Naloxone is a medication used to rapidly reverse opioid overdose. It can reverse and block the effects of opioids such as such as heroin, fentanyl, morphine, codeine, and oxycodone. Administered when a patient is showing signs of opioid overdose, naloxone’s overdose reversal is a temporary treatment and its effects do not last long. So call 911 immediately after administering/receiving naloxone (NARCAN is a brand of naloxone). Naloxone is easy to learn to administer and is an important drug safety resource.

Placer County's Substance Abuse Clinic screens for alcohol and drug issues and makes recommendations regarding resources, services and treatment options. It's open and free to all Placer County residents.
Some clients will be referred from the Screening Clinic to Health and Human Services (HHS) for Assessment and Intake; others will be referred to community treatment programs.
The drop-in clinics are first come, first served. Clients must bring a Driver’s License or other picture ID, documentation of finances and court orders (if applicable).
