The Family Justice Center of Nevada County provides a safe, centralized location where survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, elder abuse, stalking, and human trafficking can access comprehensive, coordinated services. The FJC connects individuals and families to advocacy, risk assessment and safety planning, counseling, legal assistance, law enforcement support, healthcare navigation, and social services, all in one place and through a multidisciplinary, trauma-informed approach. Services are voluntary, confidential, and survivor-centered, with a focus on reducing barriers, minimizing retraumatization, and improving outcomes. The FJC offers language access support, including bilingual Spanish-speaking staff and interpretation services, and works closely with community partners to ensure culturally responsive care for all individuals seeking help.
