The Town of Loomis Parks and Recreation celebrates and supports special events that will create enjoyment for our visitors and enhance the quality of life for our residents and provide economic prosperity for our business owners.
The Town of Loomis has two parks:

• Blue Anchor Park next to the Loomis Train Station off of Horseshoe Bar Road and Taylor Road in Loomis.
• Sunrise Loomis Park on Arcadia Avenue in Loomis.

The Rocklin Parks & Recreation Department provides a wide range of recreational activities within its public facilities and parklands. Offerings include classes and programs for all ages from preschoolers, school-age and teens to active adults and seniors, sports for both youth and adult, and theater, and arts. Three facilities are available for rent as well as a picnic pavilions for outdoor gatherings.

Placer County Library system provides library services at a temporary North Auburn location while the Auburn Library undergoes renovations. It offers access to books, DVDs, and online materials.

Services include:

• Temporary Library Services - Located at the Finance Administration Building (FAB), 2950 Richardson Drive, Auburn, offering hold pickups, browsing, and reference assistance.
• Book Returns - 24/7 book drops available in the parking lot.
• Library Card Access - Anyone with a valid ID can apply for a library card and access physical and online materials.

Additional Information:

• The Auburn Library renovation includes electrical upgrades, an elevator installation, new HVAC systems, and fully accessible restrooms, with its reopening expected in Summer 2026.
• Libraries in Lincoln, Roseville, and Loomis operate separately from Placer County Library.
