The Housing Choice Voucher Program (formerly known as Section 8) assists low-income families, the elderly, and the disabled in paying for decent, safe, and sanitary housing in the private market.

The Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is opened periodically on an as needed basis. When the waiting list is re-opened, a public announcement is placed in area newspapers and information posted on the Regional Housing Authority's website.

Migrant Services program that is a robust network of seasonal migrant housing, homelessness prevention, and refugee support services. Seasonal agricultural workers have access to OMS-backed housing through the Regional Housing Authority; low-income and homeless families can access a range of supports, including CalWORKs subsidies, Rapid Re-Housing, and case management. Migrant farmworkers benefit from outreach programs, tenant rights protections, and local utility assistance. Multiple nonprofit partners help with emergency aid, stabilization, and integration efforts.

Seasonal housing is typically available from May 1 through October 31.

The Housing Choice Voucher Program (HCV) formerly known as the Section 8 Voucher Program, is a rental assistance program to help low and very low-income families, persons with disabilities, and seniors so they can live in affordable, safe, and decent housing. Roseville Housing Authority's jurisdiction includes the City of Rocklin (Rocklin is covered by both Placer County Housing Authority and Roseville Housing Authority). Funds are only available to people from the waitlist, which opens from time to time.

Housing Choice Voucher Program (can be used anywhere) but unfortunately the waiting list is closed and applications are not available at this time. The waiting list will open once they have assisted all applicants on their current waiting list. If you would like to be notified when the waiting list reopens you can sign up for an email notification on their Housing Choice Voucher webpage, by clicking on the link or scanning the QR code with a camera phone.

The Lohse Apartments offer one, two, or three bedroom apartments in Roseville.

Each Mercy Housing community has its own leasing office and its own application process. Please call each community directly if you or your family would like to rent a low-income apartment home at one of Mercy Housing’s communities.

When you call, the community staff can answer questions regarding apartment availability, rent, income requirements or restrictions and how to obtain an application for housing.
