Royo Eye and Laser Center provides eye surgery services for individuals enrolled in Medi-Cal. 

The center specializes in cataract procedures and may offer care to both new and established Medi-Cal patients, depending on current capacity.

The Nevada County Public Health Department provides immunizations, family planning and birth control, pap tests and breast exams, basic reproductive health information, STD testing and treatment, pregnancy testing, and routine physical examinations through the Truckee Health Clinic Services.

The Nevada County Public Health Department in Truckee provides free and confidential Teen Clinics including reproductive health services for teens in the Truckee area.

Services include:

• Birth control education and supplies
• Pregnancy testing and emergency contraception
• STD testing, referrals, and HPV/Hepatitis A & B vaccinations
• Mental health counseling and support
• Abstinence education and decision-making support
• Referrals to other local services and teen-friendly providers
