FieldHaven Feline Center’s Rodent Rangers program places unsocialized or semi-socialized cats into environments where they provide natural pest control in barns, sheds, warehouses, or similar spaces. 

The program gives cats who are not suitable for traditional adoption a second chance by matching them with property owners who provide food, shelter, and protection.

All cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and health-checked before placement.

Services include:

  • Placement of feral or semi-social cats for natural rodent control
  • Matching support based on property type and needs
  • Pre-placement health care, including spay/neuter, vaccinations, and exams
  • Loaner cages and imprinting instructions for acclimating cats

FieldHaven Feline Center’s Spay/Neuter Assistance Program (SNAP) provides low-cost spay and neuter surgeries for owned, stray, and community cats, including medical care and wellness support.

The program helps reduce feline overpopulation and improve long-term animal health. Services are offered through FieldHaven’s Hathaway Veterinary Clinic, with trap loans and education available for feral colony caregivers and community members engaging in trap-neuter-return (TNR).

  • Spay or neuter surgery for community and owned cats
  • Vaccinations, flea and parasite treatment, and microchipping
  • Discounted pricing for rescue organizations with proof of 501(c)(3) status
