Wayfinder Family Services provides mental health, kinship, and family support services for children, youth, and caregivers in Placer County.

Programs include:

• Kinship Support Services Program (KSSP) – Free support for relatives or close family friends caring for children. Helps maintain family connections and avoid foster care placements. Call Wayfinder directly for referral.

Turning Point Community Programs provide a variety of mental health services for people with psychiatric disabilities to help them achieve recovery, independence, and self-sufficiency.

Coloma Center is an intensive outpatient mental health treatment program that provides psychosocial rehabilitation and case management services for Transitional Age Youth (16-25) and adults (26+) living with serious mental illness. The goal of Coloma Center is to assist people with maintaining their highest level of independence while living safely in the community.

Referrals can be made directly to Coloma Center by calling 916-786-3750 and asking for an Assessment Coordinator.

My Time Movement provides support services for young adults with foster care experience who are enrolled in Medi-Cal through Partnership HealthPlan.

It focuses mostly on housing stability, education, employment, and independent living.

Services include:

• Housing navigation support, deposits, and application fee assistance
• Educational assistance and employment readiness training
• No-fee birth certificate vouchers
• Driver’s license training
• Food and clothing referrals
• Bus passes and gas cards
• Life skills classes

iFoster provides a free online resource platform offering educational, employment, health, recreational, and daily living supports for foster youth, transition-age youth, caregivers, and service providers.
