Medicare has several parts: hospital insurance, medical insurance, and a prescription drug benefit. Hospital insurance, sometimes called Part A, covers inpatient hospital care and certain follow-up care. Medical insurance, sometimes called Part B, pays for physician services and some other services not covered by hospital insurance. Prescription drug benefit, Part D, is available as well.

The Ticket Program is free and voluntary. The Ticket Program helps people with disabilities progress toward financial independence. Individuals who receive Social Security benefits because of a disability and are age 18 through 64 probably already qualify for the program.
