Child and Adult Protective Services provides protective services for children, elders, and dependent adults who may be victims of abuse, neglect, exploitation, or abandonment. Services include child welfare investigations, emergency response, family maintenance and reunification services, adoption and foster care services, referrals to mental health and substance use treatment, and adult protective services to help elders and dependent adults remain safe in their homes and communities.
