Nevada City Office of Emergency Services provides Defensible Space Inspections to all properties within city boundaries.  The city is taking proactive steps to enhance wildfire safety for it's residents and community.  These inspections are designed to be educational, assisting residents in identifying and addressing conditions that could increase their homes vulnerability in a Wildfire.
